God is good chemo day 5

God is so good. His goodness is shown in every smile.

update: Gracies been doing a lot better today! She’s gotten another 2 infusions but was giving out a couple coveted smiles. She played play dough and gave a couple of hugh fives. Now we just need to get her to eat. Unfortunately when asked about chick fil a today, it was a quick no…and even chocolate was a no😬. So my homework is now, find Gracies food jam. The team at Nationwide Children’s has been awesome. One blessing one of my classmates from med school is an oncologist here (and to give her a shout out) she’s an awesome one. Our attending has been great and Keri (my old classmate/roomate) said he’s awesome. All this to say, Gods working and has ways to show it like a familiar face who knows this place.

ending thought: this is from one of my devotionals:

” In your waiting, tell the Lord you trust His timing and believe in His power to achieve your heart’s desire. Surrender your agenda to Him. And where your faith lacks, pray these words from Mark 9:24, “I do believe; help my unbelief!” (CSB).”

Zechariah 4:6-7

this was a verse an extended family member texted to me today.
