God is present

God is everywhere. He is present all the time and everywhere.

Update: two chemo medicines were given twice over the weekend. She rests for 2 days then tomorrow is the cell rescue day. Just talked to some doctors, they said they’re wiping her bone marrow and immune system out to the point where her newborn shots have to be redone…crazy times. All that to say, our family will be in a bubble for a couple of months. Short term difficulties for long term gain (future christmas, future days, future holidays and fun with friends keeping her as healthy as possible now).

ENDING THOUGHT: There are many things that can provoke anxiety in this time of Gracie’s cycles (keeping her from getting sick, keeping the boys happy and content, worrying about if she is going to be here tomorrow). God‘s presence and gratitude for His sacrifices (His son) and gratitude knowing I’ve gotten to hold, be with her and watch her get this far keeps the anxiety away. So today I choose joy and gratitude. Thank you Lord for Grace, for the time I have with her in the hospital, for the doctors, for the treatments you’ve provided, for friends and family who are praying for us.

“the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
