God is good even when circumstances change. Gratitude is the necessity in Situations where life seems tough.
update: Grace got out the hospital Saturday but had to be readmitted because she spiked a fever. They admitted her out of precaution. So far blood cultures are negative. She does have a virus but other than nasty boogers and a nasty cough she is on the mend! Nate had his big surgery Friday as mentioned. He did awesome and is home. He even gets to go back to school tomorrow. This will hopefully be the last surgery, last big Anesthesia, last big mri for a while if not forever. He still has to have MRI’s for his ventricles but overall this is exciting. He could be cured. God has worked through the physicians and medicines and we have seen His hand every step of the way. God is good.
Final thought: God is working on my ability to show gratitude in the middle of rougher circumstances. I unfortunately for too long have gone to complaining like the Israelites in the wilderness. I have so much to be grateful for that needs to be my go to. Philippians 4:6,7
